How to withdraw your NUM tokens in Capture App
If you’ve earned NUM tokens in Capture App, you may be wondering how to withdraw them to your wallet. Read on to learn how to withdraw your NUM tokens in Capture App!
The Capture app is the world’s first decentralized Web3 camera application that allows users to easily create and share digital media. The app features in-app NFT minting and makes assets traceable and verifiable.
The app is simple to use, and it’s really easy to get started. You can find all the features that you need on the main screen. Once you’ve taken a photo or video, you can turn your photos & videos into NFTs in just a few taps. You can also add tags to your photos and videos, which makes it easier to find them later. There are 2 different currencies in Capture App: NUM Token and NUM Point.
The NUM token is the native token of the Capture app. It can be used to purchase NFT, pay network action fee and gas fee, and also can be withdrawn to other cryptocurrency wallets which can be Decentralized Exchange (DEX) like Trustwallet, Metamask etc., or Centralized Exchange (CEX) like Binance, KuCoin, Houbi, etc.
The NUM Points, on the other hand, is a unit of the NUM token that can only be used for network action fees. However, NUM Points cannot be withdrawn from the app but when using NUM Point, the gas fee will be waived.
For example, if User A wants to mint and share Capture to explore page, with NUM token, User A will have to pay 1 NUM plus the gas fee, which is around 5 NUM. However, with NUM Points, User A will only need to pay 1 NUM while the 5 NUM gas fee will be waived for User A for using NUM Points.
NUM Points can be acquired through the Capture App referral program (that’s , when you invite people to use Capture App using your Referral Code) or by purchasing them in the Capture App, but they cannot be withdrawn to other wallets since Points are not Tokens.
How to withdraw NUM Tokens from Capture App
As state earlier, of the two currencies in the Capture App — NUM Token and NUM POINTs, only the NUM token can be withdrawn to other wallets.
Withdrawing your NUM tokens is a quick and easy way to get them off the platform and into your own wallet. So, if you’re looking to cash out, follow the steps below and you’ll be able to withdraw your tokens in no time.
Since the Capture App allows you to withdraw your NUM tokens to a non-custodial wallet, in order to do this you have to move NUM token from the asset wallet to the integrity wallet. Follow these simple steps to do so:
- Go to your profile page: You can access the profile paged by clicking on the user icon at the down right corner of the app.
2. Click the menu on the left-top
3. Click “Wallets”
4. You will see 2 wallet addresses — the asset wallet and the integrity key
5. Click “Send” and you will be taken to the In App transfer section where you can Move your NUM between Asset wallet and integrity wallet.
Let’s take a closer look at each of these options:
- Buy Credits: This option allows you to purchase credits within the app, which can be used for various transactions and activities.
- Deposit: The deposit feature enables you to add assets to your wallet. Within the deposit section, you will find your Asset Wallet, which serves as the main asset vault for your Capture NFTs and num.
- Send: The send option allows you to initiate in-app transfers, moving NUM between your Asset Wallet and Integrity Wallet.
6. Put in the amount of NUM you want to move and click on the Calculate Gas button.
7. The NUM token will transfer from the asset wallet to the integrity wallet
Accessing Your Capture App Integrity Wallet
- Click on the Export Integrity Wallet shown below.
2. Then Click on the Copy to Clipboard to copy your Wallet Address Private Key that we will be using in the next step.
After transferring your NUM mainnet from the asset wallet to the integrity wallet, you can export your integrity wallet private key to Metamask, Trustwallet, etc and use it just like any other non-custodial wallet. With this, you can have full control over your NUM tokens and use them however you please!
How to Set Up MetaMask for the Numbers Mainnet (Jade) and Import Num
To view your assets on Numbers on MetaMask, you’ll need to configure/add Numbers Mainnet (Jade) first. Just follow the steps below:
- Download and Install the Metamask Extension on your browser and login.
- Importing Your Integrity Wallet:
i. Open Metamask and click the icon in the top right corner to open the menu. From there, select “Import Account” from the list of options.
ii. Next, you’ll be prompted to select the account type. For a private key (same as the Integrity Key), select “Private Key” from the dropdown menu.
iii. Then, paste in your Integrity Key (private key) you copied earlier and click “Import.”
- Adding Num Mainnet: Go to https://chainlist.org/?search=Num
- Connect your Metamask account to Chainlist and follow the prompt
- Once you have connected your wallet and add the mainnet NUM network, you’ll then be connected to the Numbers Mainnet (Jade).
Once your account is imported, and you have added the Num mainnet to your Metamask Account, you’ll be able to see your wallet address and balance in Metamask. You can now use Metamask to send and receive NUM mainnet.
CONCLUSIONS:
To withdraw your NUM mainnet, you will need to follow the steps we have discussed above to transfer from the asset wallet to the integrity wallet.
Once the NUM tokens are in your integrity wallet, you can then export your integrity wallet key to Metamask and use it like any other non-custodial wallet.
